Announcement: GST rate change & New recurring payment option

A. GST Rate Change
Please be informed that the Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate will be increased from 8% to 9% effective January 1, 2024.
B. New Student / AFP / AWP / CFP - those applying for the certification title for the first time.
For new certificants, FPAS is pleased to inform you that we have included the option of recurring payment for your annual certification fee.
The certification fee will be locked in based on the current rate (8%) as long as the recurring payment option is valid.
However, once payment has lapsed or been canceled, the prevailing certification fee and GST will apply.
How do I make payment for the certification fee?
- Go to FPAS website (www.FPAS.org.sg) and click on LOGIN at the top right.
- Enter your email and password. Go to CERTIFICATION tab and click MAKE PAYMENT.
How do I set the recurring payment?
On the certification payment page, select recurring payment instead of one-time payment.
Upon successful payment, your certificate status will become active, and your next payment will be automatically scheduled for one year later.
C. RENEWAL Student / AFP / AWP / CFP - existing certificate holder.
For existing certificate holders who are due for renewal, you may wish to choose the following options:
- 3-year certification fee renewal, where you enjoy a 10% discount on the certification fee
- 5-year certification fee renewal, where you enjoy a 15% discount on the certification fee
If you opt for the yearly renewal, we have included the recurring payment option.
The certification fee will be locked in based on the current GST rate (8%) as long as the recurring payment option is valid.
However, once the recurring payment has lapsed or been cancelled, the prevailing certification fee and GST will apply.
How do I renew?

- Enter your email and password. Go to CERTIFICATION tab and click MAKE PAYMENT.
- To set up the recurring payment for the yearly renewal, follow the steps above on "How do I set the recurring payment?"
